My mission, values and central purpose is to be a hero to all those who seek my help…………….
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU is: you will be fully supported in transforming your vision into reality, when you work with me.
Let me tell you a true story………Some years ago, my wife and I decided to rebuild our home. It was at a time when I was still a Chartered Accountant, before I became a Therapeutic Reflexologist. So in true accountant fashion, I obtained 6 or 7 quotes. One of the quotes was from Mr Cocomello, an elderly Italian builder. Mr Cocomello’s quote was considerably higher than all the other quotes, but I felt comfortable with him, so I awarded him the contract. Contrary to dotting the “I”’s and crossing the ‘t”s, as I usually did with contracts , we went ahead on a simple handshake. When I told this to my friends, They all said “you must be crazy not to have a contract”, but it turned out to be a wonderful experience. Never an angry word, never a disagreement about the quality of the work, never a disagreement about the completion date, never a disagreement about payment. In fact, after the completion of the work, we remained firm friends and often, Mr Cocomello would pop in on Sunday mornings for a cup of tea.
May I suggest that this is how you choose a Therapeutic Reflexologist.
Why?………. If you don’t like your Reflexologist, or you’re concerned he or she may judge you, you aren’t likely to share your innermost thoughts and feelings or acknowledge unflattering behaviors. If you don’t talk about these things, you might not get to the heart of your issues, and you might not gain the information you need to create change.
In fact, your relationship with your therapist, often referred to as the “therapeutic alliance,” will most likely be a determining factor in how helpful the reflexology is for you.
What is important, though, is to make sure that the therapist you choose is a registered Therapeutic Reflexologist This is your assurance that they follow professional guidelines and a code of ethics.
