The human body is a complex organ system. much like your car. What does that mean? Well, the engine is the heart. the software is the brain and they both need a continuous supply of fuels (food or petrol) and oxygen.
So what happens when we put sand into our petrol tank? The same thing that happens to our gastrointestinal system when we have poor lifestyle habit – we eat junk food, sugar, wheat, dairy and other unhealthy food. Trillions of bacterial cells live inside our large intestine, and when the bacteria is out of balance, we experience digestive distress, such as Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, inflammatory bowel disease, abdominal pain, gas, bloating, diarrhoea diabetes, obesity etc and this influences our whole-body health, not just our gut. eg stress and anxiety, depression, bad sex life and poor work performance. This can easily become a way of life and chronic illness may be inevitable.
There are no guarantees for health, but chronic illness may be avoidable, when we adopt correct principles of healthy living.
Correct principles are like natural laws. they do not change and adopting them simplifies our lives. We might as well learn them, accommodate them, utilise them and then be grateful for them. This will liberate us and empower us.
Here’s my advice to get you started: 6 simple steps:
- 20 min brisk walk per day.
- 2. Deep breathing during your walk.
- Healthy breakfast, lunch & dinner plus healthy snacks.
- Drink 6 glasses water daily.
- 7 hours uninterrupted sleep.
- Get regular treatments from a registered Therapeutic Reflexologist & Craniosacral therapist. They are safe & drug-free therapies and will de-stress & de-clutter your life physically & emotionally.
That’s it. BOOM! Small steps, BIG results.
