I’m a Chartered Accountant who became a Therapeutic Reflexologist and Craniosacral Therapist at age 64.

I survived cancer at 42.

I overcame an “incurable” chronic disease at 63, when doctors said: “We don’t know what causes it, there is no cure, and you just need to live with it.”

I’ve learned that healing requires flexibility—bending like the reed in the storm instead of breaking like the rigid cedar.

This blog is where I share:

  • Stories that teach (from movies, books, life)
  • The wisdom of the reed
  • Why hope is real, even when you’ve been told there’s none

I don’t believe in false hope.

I believe in honest hope.

The kind earned through experience.

The kind that says: “I know what it’s like to be told there’s no way forward. And I’m still here. Still helping people. Still showing up.”

If you’ve been told your condition is incurable—

If you’re exhausted from fighting your body—

If you’re ready to learn a different way—

Welcome.

I’m glad you’re here.

You’re not broken. You’re not imagining it. And you’re not alone.

My new book “How to Be Free of IBD” is proof your body CAN heal, even when they say it can’t.

This isn’t just for IBD sufferers—it’s for anyone facing chronic illness, anyone who’s been told “learn to live with it,” and anyone who refuses to accept that answer.
